I  got to know Dahab in 2006. Straight away I felt home: exactly the place I was looking for in all these years of travel… Not too big and not too small, simple, welcoming, cozy, informal, colorful, and most of all: hosting an international citizenship! Very soon the multilingual and multipotential community of Dahab made me feel part of it.
In 2007 I published the book “L’oro di Dahab” (”The gold of Dahab”) about my first experience here. This place still inspires me in my writing. Here I wrote the next two books that I am going to publish soon (a dramatic novel and a humorist work). I studied languages in order to be free to travel and I have been working in tourism all my life in several countries. I can reply to you in Italian, German, Spanish and English.
Dahab is the only place I always came back to. Dahab is to me at the same time nest and movement, development of thoughts and ideas, creativity, light and color, health and pure nature, starry skies and constant hugs, from the blue sea and the red mountains all around.
In Dahab time stops existing and at the same time in Dahab everything happens faster, more intense, fuller. There is no way to explain the spell of Dahab if not living it. The local population still researches about it, in a Babel of different versions (religious, magic, geological, geographical, physical, philosophical, etc.) about the fascination that Dahab creates on the visitors, who sooner or later have to come back.
In any case, I am tied to Dahab by a mysterious sense of belonging.
I know each single stone of her. I cherish each single glimpse of her sea, from the daytime and from the nights under her breathtaking big  moon.
It would be a pleasure for me to share with respectful people the colors and the paths of this enchanting place.
