Historically Jowhara was a small camp consisting of bamboo huts, which has grown over the years into a 55 room hotel. Jowhara has been owned by a local Bedouin family named “El Towery” for over 20 years and it is still run today by a Bedouin team and they work hard to keep the ancient traditions alive.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable with bathrooms and hot water at any time of the day. In the garden there is an “arisha” - a shaded open resting place - for you to relax. There is free Wi-Fi in all areas of the facility.
Although we are centrally based in Dahab the hotel is very quiet, peaceful and tranquil with gardens of green grass and plants.
